Our greatest strength is our staff, which is committed to the growth and development of young children. Our teachers are the heart of our Center. Each teacher is degreed or working towards a degree in the field of Early Childhood Education and possesses a wide array of knowledge and experience in the field. All teachers are screened through Missouri State Highway Patrol/Missouri Department of Social Services, is required to attend the Bishop Helmsing Institute, must complete a minimum of 12 professional development hours a year and maintain CPR and First aide certification.
In addition to our wonderful teachers, our Early Childhood Learning Center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. NAEYC administers the largest and most widely recognized accreditation systems for all types of Early Childhood Programs and Child Care Centers. NAEYC is the nations largest organization of Early Childhood Educators.
Early Childhood Programs accredited by NAEYC Academy have undergone a comprehensive process of internal self-study, invited external professional review to verify compliance with Criteria for High Quality Early Childhood Programs, and been found to be in substantial compliance with the Criteria.
