Instilling the Faith

At St. Gabriel’s we incorporate our faith throughout the day. Childrenrecite prayers before meals and learn how to make the sign of the cross. Children are reminded that God is present in their everyday lives and that he is all around us in their “Circle of Grace”. Children are read Bible stories and learn songs about events and truths from scripture in ways that are meaningful to Children.

Embracing the Family

Family involvement is an important part of our program. At St. Gabriel we believe your involvement is essential for your child and their success of our school. It is through this partnership that that we are able to best meet each child’s and family’s needs. As teachers welcome families and their experiences, St. Gabriel becomes a richer place for everyone.

Challenging the Mind

Our curriculum is aligned with Missouri State Standards and is guided by developmentally appropriate practice.

At St. Gabriel we believe children learn best when they are able to construct knowledge through a wide array of hands on experiences. It is through these planned lessons that teachers extend children’s learning. This is done through developmentally appropriate lessons in areas of language, literacy, math, science, geography, religion, health/safety, music movement, gross and fine motor activities, dramatic play, art and sensory experiences. We believe that curriculum is everything that surrounds a Child during their day.
